eLearning is currently set up so that the user who registers for an eLearning course needs to be the same user who undertakes the course.
Here is What Our Participants Had to Say About Our Courses
I have reviewed three of these courses. All three courses were very easy to use. This initiative is a great resource for the steel design community.
Very useful course content highlighting many subtle topics a designer should know about but which are often overlooked. Great insight of every subject covered along with history and development. Precisely organized course contents which first prepares for what to expect and makes sure a course taker is on track with the understanding.
The training platform is easy to navigate and learn from.
The subjects provide information in accordance to the relevant Australian Standards and also advice gained from practicing engineers.
It is especially useful for people not based in Capital cities who cannot attend ASI seminars in person.

I have just completed the Connecting Steel to Concrete course and can highly recommend it as a comprehensive guide for fastening steel to concrete. A great way to expand your knowledge with lessons that can be studied in one 4-hour session or split into several short sessions to suit your work-load and available time.
I strongly encourage all practicing structural engineers in Australia to complete ASI’s Fire & Structural Steelwork Course. The series of lessons provides excellent coverage of one of the most important and (mis-understood) industry topics in a wholistic and well explained manner. The primary presenters displayed an outstanding understanding of topic and the value for money in completing this course was exceptional. Consulting firms, employing graduate structural engineers, should mandate completion of this Course by their staff, within the first 3 years of completing their tertiary studies.
The Economical Structural Steelwork Course, provided practical and clear presentations of cost considerations in the design, fabrication & erection of structural steelwork – suitable for many practitioners, both in-experienced and well versed in structural steel cost control.

I have completed the ASI course “Design of Composite Beams, Slabs and Columns” on the eLearning portal. John Merrick presented the topic clearly, and in a way suitable for practicing engineers. The breakdown into lessons and knowledge checks all flowed smoothly. As one who has not been exposed to composite design for many years, I found it very beneficial.
