This course explores the design of steel structures to AS 4100. The course is designed as a refresher for engineers and in particular covers the 2012 amendment to AS 4100 and innovative use of steel, such as application of high strength steels.
The course is aimed specifically at providing design awareness and capability for engineers to ensure quality cost effective outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations. Significant focus is placed on the behavioural aspects of steel and steel structures that underpin the theoretical basis of the Standard.
